Memory Makers program – Make A Rubber Band Car!
This program is set up for a senior (55+) and a youth (under 16) to take a class and build a project together for one low cost! Perfect for Grandparents and grandchildren, Aunts/Uncles with Nieces/Nephews, or even your favorite neighbor from down the road!
Come join Pat and make your own wooden Rubber Band car!
Rubber band cars are a fun way to demonstrate concepts such as energy conversion, simple machines, and engineering design process.
And what’s a little innocent fun in racing them afterwards! 😉
All supplies are included.
Suitable for ages 7+
Saturday December 12th from 3:30pm-7:30pm
Shuswap Makerspace 220 Shuswap St. NE, Salmon Arm,  in the Innovation Centre (basement)
***Register soon as space is limited to 4 senior/youth couples!*** Minimum 2 senior/youth couples to run the course
