Youth Sewing Class

Instructor – Linda Wooster, retired Home Economics teacher and award-winning seamstress

In this class you will:

1.  learn the parts of a sewing machine and what each part does
2.  practice using the machine to sew straight seams
3.  construct a simple shopping bag from your choice of fabric

*All materials and sewing machines will be provided.*

Open to Ages 10+

Pre-registration is required.

This class will take place Thursday, Jan 22 from 3:30pm-6:00pm at the Shuswap Makerspace.

Located at 220 Shuswap St. NE Salmon Arm, BC. Bottom of the brightly colored Innovation Center.

Limit of 3 people. (Minimum of 2 people to run the class)
