Pen Making 101-Cancelled

In this course you will make a “’Maple Leaf” style twist pen.
The activities are:
prepare a wooden blank which will become the pen barrel
turn a pen barrel blank on the lathe to the desired shape
finish the wooden pen barrel to a smooth, sheer look and feel
assemble the finished pen
find resources and supplies for more pen projects
Each participant will leave the workshop with a finished Maple Leaf style pen.
In this class you will learn how to safely operate the lathe as an introduction to this fun hobby.
All materials are included in the cost.

You might want to bring a lunch or snack for a short break during the workshop. Please no
loose, “dangly” style shirt sleeves.
