Intro to Stained Glass!

- Each student will make a simple sun catcher that will have between 6 and 12 pieces. There will be 4 designs to choose from.
- The instructor will show students basic glass cutting techniques and various cutting methods for their sun catcher.
- You will learn how to prepare the edges for foil tape and how to tack pieces in place over the pattern on the work surface; as well as how to apply the solder and patina.

- You will need to bring a pair of ‘high dexterity’ gloves for yourself. – These can be purchased at many local stores (Dollarama, Canadian Tire, Walmart, any hardware or gardening store)
All other supplies and tools are included in the course.
- This workshop is led by retired electrician and stained glassenthusiast, Jim Hilland.
- NOTE:We ask that you wear closed-toed shoes. Long hair must be tied up.
