Memory Makers program – WOODSHOP Project
This program is set up for a senior (55+) and a youth (under 16) to take a class and build a project together for one low cost! Perfect for Grandparents and grandchildren, Aunts/Uncles with Nieces/Nephews, or even your favorite neighbor from down the road!
For this project you will be in the woodshop building a Money Box together (or “piggy bank” if you will).
Open to youth 5-16 & seniors over 55.
Introduce the youth to the art of woodwork.
No major power tools or equipment will be used for this class. You will be sanding, nailing, gluing, and staining!
All supplies are included.
Saturday December 6th from 1pm-4pm
NOTE: We ask that you wear closed-toed shoes. Long hair must be tied back.
Shuswap Makerspace 220 Shuswap St. NE, Salmon Arm, in the Innovation Centre (basement)
***Register soon as space is limited to 4 senior/youth couples!*** Minimum 2 senior/youth couples to run the course
