DESCRIPTION:Instructor – Linda Wooster\, retired Home Economics teacher and award-winning seamstress \nIn this class you will\, \n\nlearn the parts of a sewing machine and what each part does\npractice using the machine to sew straight seams\nyour choice of project – a pillow or a simple shopping bag – made from your choice of fabric. (All supplies are provided)\ndecorate with an iron-on applique (Choose from an existing one or design your own!)\n\nAll materials and sewing machines will be provided. \nOpen to Ages 16+ \n  \nPre-registration is required. \n**This class will take place Jan 20\, 2026 9:30am-12:30pm at the Shuswap Makerspace. \nLocated at 220 Shuswap St. NE Salmon Arm\, BC. Bottom of the brightly colored Innovation Center. \n**Limit of 3 people.
