DESCRIPTION:Woodshop 101 – Build A Lantern \n\nFamiliarize yourself with the Wood Shop and its resources.\nIntroduce yourself to the machines and power tools that you are most likely to use.\nDemonstrate how to use those machines and power tools safely.\nGet hands-on experience in operating the machines and power tools safely.\nLearn safety rules including\, E STOP\, first aid kit\, eye wash station\, fire extinguisher and emergency exits.\n\nThis workshop is led by Dave Crandell \nYou will make a lantern as part of the class and the wood is included in the cost. \nUpon Completion of this class you will then be able to utilize the woodshop for your own projects on a membership or drop in basis! \nOpen to everyone 16 years and older \nNOTE: We ask that you wear closed-toed shoes. Long hair must be tied up. DESCRIPTION:~ Learn the basics of 3D printing and how to safely and successfully use the 3D printers and software to print your own 3D objects. This course is a requirement for gaining access to the 3D printers utilizing our memberships and drop in. \n\nThis workshop is led by electronics enthusiast Kyrel Silva.\n\nThe fee is $100.
